I retired in 2013. My loving wife told me that she would not be my entertainment director. That wasn’t going to be a problem. I have always loved travel, animals. I have always liked photography and I had a bit of success on our trips until we went to Alaska in 2015. My eyes were opened to the world outside of the automatic setting on my camera. I started taking photographs of wildlife and birds in particular. I have been expanding my targets into night photography, scenery, and friends and family. I’m also learning that pictures are art and have been trying to improve beyond documentary photography. Here are some of my pictures, I hope you enjoy them.
