No, not in Texas but this time a return visit to Ireland. The first time was for a quilting- related tour. This time we focus on the rich music legacy of the Emerald Isle. Our overnight flight seemed very quick thanks to strong tailwinds. We arrived at Heathrow and made it in plenty of time from Terminal 5 to Terminal 2 then through security. A short hop from there to Shannon where we were met by Peter and driven to the Bunratty Heights B&B. After dropping our luggage and finding our room, Peter dropped us at Durty Nellie’s where we caught lunch and then walked back to the B&B. We met our fellow tourers and enjoyed a glass of wine in the sun on the patio, where we also watched the farmer in the field behind herding his cattle by Jeep. All of the group but 2 arrived in time for a group dinner in town then it was early to bed for all to catch up on sleep.
